Former NFL linebacker, Is Terry Crews is now team #PCMasterRace?

Suddenly the traditional nerds sitting behind their computers playing video games are threatened! Sit back nerds, we need to keep up with this one… Former NFL linebacker, Terry Crews streams a live video on Facebook showcasing his new purchases to build a full powered gaming rig. He’s purchased this with his own money, I’d suppose he’s “coming out” for his love of technology. This build will include a GTX 1080 as well and a HTC Vive, although not listed. Surprisingly, it’s actually a good build, the specs are as following:

  • NZXT Phantom 820
  • EVGA Supernova 1000W P2
  • ASUS X99 Sabertooth
  • Intel Core i7-6800K
  • Corsair H100i AIO
  • 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum
  • Samsung 850 Pro with 2 TB
  • ASUS Xonar Essence STX
  • ASUS Blu-ray driive
  • Razer DeathAdder Chroma mouse
  • Corsair K70 Lux RGB
  • Audio Technica PDG1 headphones
  • Acer Predator X34

Most of my generation who aren’t sports savvy know him mostly for his many appearances on television, however he has a massive past in the NFL.

In 1991, Crews was drafted into the St. Louis Rams (now Los Angeles…) beginning his career. He also worked with the San Diego Chargers, the Washington Redskins, and also the Philadelphia Eagles.

After retiring from the NFL in 1997, he pursued acting. One of his most famous roles is in is White Chicks. A great movie to watch if you’re bored out of your mind, btw.

Maybe he’s taking a new stint in his careers, maybe just a hardcore PC Enthusiast in the hiding.

What do you think? Leave a comment below, we’d love your feedback.
